Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove the core of the cabbage and chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  • Cut the kielbasa into 1-inch thick rounds.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, sliced kielbasa, and optional apple.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it in a single layer.
  • Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Serve warm right out of the oven.
