Cooking Instructions

  • In a large skillet, warm vegetable oil over medium heat. Stir in Sichuan peppercorns and crushed red pepper flakes, frying until fragrant—about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the ground pork to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in hoisin sauce, Chinese black vinegar, soy sauce, tahini, honey, garlic, ginger, chili oil, and toasted sesame oil. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until bubbling.
  • In a separate pot, boil ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the sauce mixture in the skillet.
  • Divide the saucy noodles into bowls and garnish with cilantro, toasted peanuts, and sliced green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze sauce separately from noodles for up to 3 months.
