For the Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened.

Base Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan with nonstick spray and parchment paper.
  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes, then allow to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix cooled butter with brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and orange zest; whisk until shiny.
  • Fold in dry ingredients until just combined, then stir in cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter in prepared pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 18-22 minutes until edges are golden and center is slightly underbaked. Let cool.

Frosting and Serving

  • In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese with confectioners' sugar, remaining vanilla, and orange juice until smooth.
