Cookie Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in the Rice Krispies and chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and centers are slightly soft.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
