  • 2 cups rotini pasta
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 cup thick-cut pepperoni slices
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups pizza sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook rotini according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef and sausage until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, meat mixture, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and half of the mozzarella.
  5. Grease a baking dish and layer half of the pasta mixture; top with remaining mozzarella. Add the rest of the pasta mixture.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
