  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 35 tbsp ice water
  • 1 cup apple pie filling (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

Instructions

  1. 1. Make the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare Your Fillings: Chop large pieces in the apple pie filling and mix pumpkin puree with desired spices.
  3. 3. Roll Out Dough: Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out chilled dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut circles using a cookie cutter (about 3 inches).
  4. 4. Fill and Seal: Place a tablespoon of filling on half the circles. Top with another circle and seal edges with a fork.
  5. 5. Bake: Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, brush tops with melted butter, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
