  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Halloween sprinkles or candies for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; stir in flour and baking powder until combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with sugars until fluffy. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then gradually add flour and chocolate chips.
  4. Spoon half the brownie batter into the pan, followed by dollops of cookie dough on top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are firm but center is slightly soft. Cool before cutting and decorate with sprinkles.
