  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, then drain excess grease. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. Stir in shredded cabbage and cook for an additional 5 minutes until slightly wilted but still crunchy.
  4. Spread half of the biscuit dough in the bottom of the prepared dish, layer with the beef-cabbage mixture, and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  5. Cover with the remaining biscuit dough, leaving some holes for steam to escape.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
