  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 34 lemons)
  • 2 tsp high-quality ceremonial grade matcha powder
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups filtered water

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients: lemon juice, matcha powder, grated ginger, honey/agave syrup, and water.
  2. Juice the lemons until you have 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  3. Grate the fresh ginger finely.
  4. In a pitcher, combine lemon juice, grated ginger, matcha powder (sifted if needed), honey/agave syrup, and 4 cups of filtered water. Stir well until mixed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices or mint leaves if desired.
