  • ½ cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add 2-3 test kernels and cover.
  2. Once the test kernels pop, add ½ cup of popcorn kernels to the pot. Cover and gently shake while popping.
  3. When popping slows, remove from heat and transfer popped corn to a large bowl while warm.
  4. Sprinkle turmeric powder over the popcorn and toss well to coat evenly.
  5. Season with sea salt and optional smoked paprika, tossing again until all pieces are glistening with flavor.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
