Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering them with cold water, and bringing to a boil over medium heat. Cover and remove from heat; let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool before peeling.
  3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks and mix in mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
