  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the gnocchi until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella and Parmesan, adding salt, pepper, and chopped basil.
  3. Layer half of the marinara sauce over the cooked gnocchi, then dollop spoonfuls of the cheese mixture on top. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes to let flavors meld.
  5. Add remaining mozzarella on top and cover until melted, about 3 minutes.
