Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1/4 cup gochujang paste
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • For garnish: 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix minced garlic, honey, gochujang paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil until blended.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or grill over medium heat.
  4. If baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place marinated chicken on the sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked and caramelized. If grilling, cook chicken for about six minutes per side until done.
  5. Allow the chicken to rest for five minutes before slicing. Drizzle with remaining marinade if desired and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
