  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 fresh figs, sliced
  • 3 oz prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  3. On the non-buttered side of one slice, layer half the cheese, figs, prosciutto, and top with remaining cheese. Place the second slice on top, buttered side up.
  4. Grill in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from pan, let cool slightly, slice in half, and serve immediately.
