  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup smoked gouda cheese (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Marinara sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper until just mixed.
  3. Flatten a handful of the mixture in your palm, place a cube of smoked gouda in the center, and wrap the meat around it to form a ball.
  4. Arrange meatballs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
