  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides until browned (about 3 minutes per side). Remove the roast and set aside.

  5. Return the seared roast to the pot, cover tightly, and braise in the oven for about 3 hours or until fork-tender.
