Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time while mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the pumpkin puree until combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
  5. Drop dollops of batter onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each cookie.
  6. Bake for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool on a wire rack before frosting.
