  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 8 oz spaghetti (whole wheat or regular)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and season chicken with salt and pepper before placing it in the dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, and spices if desired. Pour over chicken in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. While chicken bakes, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  6. Once chicken is done, slice it and toss with cooked spaghetti. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking dish over everything before serving.
