  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 150g granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine kunafa noodles with melted butter until evenly coated.
  3. Press small sections into muffin tins or molds, leaving space in the center for filling.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

  6. For the syrup, heat water, lemon juice, and additional sugar in a saucepan until dissolved and slightly thickened.
