  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1.5 cups water or beef broth
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sear the beef in the Instant Pot on "Sauté" mode for about 5 minutes until browned.
  2. Add minced garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, and half a cup of water; stir to combine.
  3. Secure the lid and set to "Manual" high pressure for 35 minutes.
  4. Cook jasmine rice separately by rinsing under cold water; combine with water or broth according to package instructions.
  5. Once cooking is complete, release pressure carefully and serve beef over rice.
  6. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
