  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add sliced onions with a pinch of salt. Sauté for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in beef broth while scraping the bottom to deglaze. Add thyme.
  4. Stir in pasta and enough water to cover (about 2 cups). Mix gently.
  5. Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 4 minutes.
  6. Carefully release pressure, then stir in heavy cream and Gruyère cheese until melted and smooth.
