  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate (or chocolate chips)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grease the Instant Pot insert with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs until frothy; add melted butter and vanilla extract, then mix into dry ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the greased insert and create wells for the melted chocolate. Spoon in melted chocolate, then top with remaining batter.
  5. Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Allow natural pressure release for 5 minutes before carefully releasing any remaining pressure.
  6. Remove the insert and let cool slightly before inverting onto plates. Serve immediately with vanilla ice cream on top.
