  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups diced apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk (or cream)

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and milk; stir in melted butter until combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples into the wet mixture before combining with dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. While cooling on a wire rack, mix powdered sugar with milk to create the glaze. Drizzle over warm bread before serving.
