  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Boil the jumbo pasta shells in salted water until al dente, about half the time on the package. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper until blended.
  4. Generously stuff each shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the baking dish; arrange stuffed shells upright in it.
  6. Top with remaining marinara and mozzarella. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
