  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 1 lb peeled and deveined shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup dry white wine (Sauvignon Blanc recommended)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients for easy access.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and melt half of the butter. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Sear each side for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown; then remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the pan, cooking for about three minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any bits from the bottom of the pan. Simmer for about two minutes until reduced.
  6. Return chicken to the pan along with chopped parsley; mix well. Serve hot over pasta or rice.
