  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Toss sliced apples with half of the brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, remaining brown sugar, salt, and cold butter until crumbly. Press half into the baking dish for the base.
  4. Layer apples over the crust and drizzle with half of the caramel sauce.
  5. Top with remaining crumb mixture and drizzle more caramel on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
