  • 1 cup cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Split lobster tails and chop the meat into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Sauté shallots until translucent, then add mushrooms and cook until golden brown.
  3. In a separate saucepan, melt remaining butter to create a roux with flour. Gradually whisk in heavy cream and white wine until thickened.
  4. Combine lobster meat and mushroom mixture into the sauce. Stir in parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with more parmesan, and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
