  • 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil or traditional)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese (whole milk preferred)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink, then gently fold in crab meat.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese with chopped herbs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Layer the lasagna: spread sauce on the bottom of the dish, add noodles, half the seafood mixture, half the ricotta mix, and sprinkle with mozzarella. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up.
  5. Finish with noodles topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake covered for 30 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown. Let sit before serving.
