Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb frozen French fries
  • 8 oz ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced jalapeños and chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  2. Bake fries according to package instructions until golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes. Flip halfway through.
  3. While fries are baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Add sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned but juicy, about 3 minutes.
  5. Once fries are done, layer the steak mixture over them and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  6. Return loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve hot with optional toppings.
