Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread: Slice brioche into thick pieces and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  2. Make the custard: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Soak the bread: Pour custard over brioche, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight.
