  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries (halved)
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about three minutes).
  4. Mix in eggs one at a time, then gradually add milk while mixing until smooth.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just incorporated. Gently fold in cranberries and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
