  • 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Cuban seasoning (cumin, oregano, garlic powder, paprika)
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 4 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Rub the pork shoulder with olive oil and season generously with Cuban seasoning. Place in a roasting pan.
  2. Cover with foil and slow-cook for about 4 hours until tender. Alternatively, use a slow cooker.
  3. Let the pork rest for 15 minutes, then shred using two forks.
  4. Slice slider buns in half; layer Swiss cheese on each bottom half. Add shredded pork, pickles, and drizzle mustard on top.
  5. Place tops on sliders, brush with melted butter, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
