  • 4 cups frozen corn
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine frozen corn, crumbled bacon, cream cheese (cubed), butter (cut into pats), garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Sprinkle half of the grated cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 3 hours or high for 1 hour.
  5. Stir the mixture once cooked; sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover until melted (about 15 minutes).
  6. Serve in bowls, garnished with additional bacon if desired.
