  • 8 oz whole wheat spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese (part-skim recommended)
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach or kale
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; reserve some pasta water.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, spinach or kale, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and slightly browned on top.
